The Associació de Joves Investigadors en Llengua i Literatura Catalanes aims at helping young researchers promote their investigations within the field of Catalan language and literature. Besides stimulating research, the association intends to bolster Catalan language beyond its own domain and creating a meeting point among Catalan territories.
After the editions at Universitat de València (2017), Universitat de Lleida (2018), Universitat de les Illes Balears (2019) and Universitat de Barcelona (2020), this year’s edition of the V International Congress Associació de Joves Investigadors en Llengua i Literatura Catalanes (V CIAJILLC) will take place at Universitat de Perpinyà Via Domícia (UPVD), more specifically at the Institut Franco-Català Transfronterer (IFCT), at the building Casa dels Països Catalans.
The dates of the event are October 21st, 22nd and 23rd 2021, subject to change due to the pandemic.

PARTICIPATION
The language of the congress will be Catalan; therefore, it will mainly attend communications in Catalan language. Communications in other shared or neighbouring languages of the territory such as Occitan, among other Romance and international languages, will be attended as well.

- Didactics of Catalan language, literature and culture, and new technologies
- Linguistics studies
- Language in time and space
- Cross-border relations: Catalunya (North and South) – Occitània – Andorra
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and communication. In order to participate as a speaker, participants must meet AT LEAST ONE of the following requirements:
- Graduate in the last 10 years
- Ph.D student
- Postgraduate in the last 5 years
