9 projects will take part in the first Faberllull scriptwriting residency

The projects that have been selected for this first residency, organised by the Institut Ramon Llull in collaboration with Associated Scriptwriters of Catalonia (GAC) and Academy of Catalan Cinema, are: Festina Lente, by Núria Dunjo and Carlos Villafaina; Nena, by Gabriel Ochoa Peris; La Belleza, by Irene Moray, Irene Solà and Jan Matheu; Els homes i els dies, by Arnau Vilaró; Criatures, by Víctor Sala; Mala gent, by Sara Gutiérrez Galve and Núria Roura; Oh Nora, by Aina Clotet; Quan torni l’estiu, by Natàlia Boadas, Laura Azemar and Marta Vivet; and La jugada, by Pau Subirós.




From around 50 feature-length projects which were submitted, 9 have been chosen to take part in the first edition of the Feature-film scriptwriting residency for works currently being written, led by the Institut Ramon Llull with the support of the Academy of Catalan Cinema and Associated Scriptwriters of Catalonia (GAC).

The chosen projects are: Festina Lente, by Núria Dunjo and Carlos Villafaina; Nena, by Gabriel Ochoa Peris; La Belleza, by Irene Moray, Irene Solà and Jan Matheu; Els homes i els dies, by Arnau Vilaró; Criatures, by Víctor Sala; Mala gent, by Sara Gutiérrez Galve and Núria Roura; Oh Nora, by Aina Clotet; Quan torni l’estiu, by Natàlia Boadas, Laura Azemar and Marta Vivet; and La jugada, by Pau Subirós.

From 17th until 31st May, the programme will offer the scriptwriters of the chosen projects board and lodgings, individualized mentoring, group sessions among the participants and masterclasses during their residency at Faberllull Olot.

The objective of this initiative is to contribute to developing the writing process of the projects’ scripts, focusing on this composition phase, all by facilitating research, the sharing of knowledge and mentorship of selected experts, who will guarantee the excellence of the writing, research and creation.

It is an Institut Ramon Llull initiative, with the support of the Academy of Catalan Cinema and GAC.
